Zhengzhou Gears Up: AllinPlas2027 Opens a Window into Central China's Booming Plastics Market

Происхождение данных: AllinPlas

Most international suppliers looking at China's plastics industry naturally focus on the coastal hubs-Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu. But inland China is quietly building its own stage, and it is getting bigger every year. AllinPlas 2027, the 17th China (Zhengzhou) Plastics Industry Expo, will take place March 18-20, 2027 at the Central China International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province and the gateway to Central China.

Launched in 2012 by Zhengzhou Bozhan Exhibition Services, AllinPlas has grown through sixteen editions into a fast-expanding full-industry-chain plastics expo in inland China. The 2027 edition will cover 60,000 square meters with 1,600 booths and more than 1,000 exhibitors from home and abroad. The showcase spans nine categories-injection, extrusion and blow molding machinery, downstream processing equipment, molds, automation and robotics, chemical raw materials and compounds, plastic products, auxiliary equipment, and measurement and testing systems-with particular emphasis on emerging areas such as biodegradable materials and high-performance modified resins.

The numbers tell a clear growth story. The inaugural show in 2013 occupied just 8,000 square meters; recent editions have exceeded 50,000. Visitor attendance has climbed steadily since the pandemic years, reaching 45,516 in 2026. The audience profile is equally striking: 51.7% of visitors come from Central China, 25.5% from North China and 13% from East China-regions where plastics-intensive manufacturing, from auto parts to food packaging, has been expanding rapidly as production shifts inland.

For overseas suppliers, the visitor list may matter more than the statistics. The show's visitor outreach covers automotive and components, home appliances and electronics, food and beverage packaging, healthcare, construction materials, cabling and pipe, and new energy sectors, with invited audiences expected from companies including BYD, Yutong Bus, Gree, Haier, Midea, TCL, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Wahaha, Mengniu and Yili. Alongside the exhibition, the 2027 program features a sustainable development summit, medical plastics innovation seminars, compounding technology workshops, and dedicated buyer-supplier matchmaking sessions, supported by an expert consultation desk for on-site technical advice.

What makes this show worth a second look for international exhibitors, particularly those from Taiwan and Southeast Asia, is the market timing. As eastern China's manufacturing capacity migrates inland, demand for automotive, new-energy and food-grade plastics processing equipment and resins in Henan and neighboring provinces is rising fast-yet supply relationships there are still forming. AllinPlas offers a cost-effective, face-to-face route into that buyer base before competitors lock it down.
