K 2022, A Total Success for the biggest Exhibition in the Plastics and Rubber Industry

Since 2019, the Trade Fairs and Exhibitions industry didn’t hold as many exhibitions as expected due to the pandemic that affected many economic sectors due to travel restrictions. We can say that K 2022 is the first big exhibition in the plastics and rubber industry which brought over 176,000 visitors from over 157 countries, including Taiwanese companies this year over 85 exhibitors.

It is well known that K SHOW is one of the main tools for exhibitors and visitors to do business, the 2022 edition was not the exception, for most of the companies were intrigued to know how was going to be the situation due to this unique time we are living. Taiwanese manufacturers' feedback has been constantly good, most of them mention something in common finally being able to meet new customers and also see old customers and friends.

As K SHOW Officials mentioned, “For around two-thirds of all visitors polled machinery and plant construction ranked first in terms of interest. 57% and, hence 5% more than at K 2019, said they were interested in raw and auxiliary materials, with recyclates and bioplastics being particularly popular. For 28% semi-finished products and technical parts made of plastics and rubber were the main reason for coming (multiple responses possible). Over 70% of all visitors come from the top and middle management” , This is the main reason why K continuously.

Also from K SHOW press we get that most of the visitors had well impression of the main three topics during the show, they mentioned, “The official special show, ‘Plastics Shape the Future, focused on the economic, social and ecological challenges and potential solutions around the K guiding topics in high-caliber discussions and lectures, and this show was well attended throughout.  The Circular Economy Forum, where the VDMA and 13 of its member companies impressively demonstrated the importance of technology in the implementation of the circular economy in the plastics industry, scored points with the international audience with live demonstrations and a great deal of well-founded knowledge as well as detailed information on the topic”
